How to Install Skype in Ubuntu Linux
Skype is a chat a client which allows people to communicate with each other through plain chatting and voice or videochat. Skype Package is available in the default repositories of Ubuntu Linux .

Follow the below Steps to install Skype :
Step:1 Download the Skype debian Package
# wget http://download.skype.com/linux/skype-ubuntu-precise_4.2.0.13-1_i386.deb
Step:2 Install the skype debian package using dpkg command :
# sudo dpkg -i skype-ubuntu-precise_4.2.0.13-1_i386.deb
If you are getting error while installing , then use below command
# sudo apt-get install -f // this command will fix the error & will install skype
Step:3 Now Access the Skpe :
Click on the Skype image
Preview of Skype :
Enter your Skype ID and Password & enjoy free audio and video Chatting
